Cookie Policy

Two kinds of cookie: the ones this site needs to work, and analytics that only exist if you agree to them.

The short version

This site sets two kinds of cookie: the ones it needs to work, and analytics cookies that only exist if you agree to them. Neither can see the files you open here, because those files never leave your browser to begin with.

You chose when the banner appeared, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page.

Essential

One cookie records the choice you made about the others, so you are not asked again on every page. It holds nothing but that answer, and without it the banner could not remember anything.

Analytics - only if you accept

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies that let me count visitors and see which tools get used, so I know what to fix and what to build next. They record which pages were viewed, roughly which country from, and what kind of device and browser.

These are set by Google and are subject to Google's own privacy policy. If you reject them, the script is never loaded at all - not loaded and then told to stay quiet, but never fetched.

What there is none of

No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no social media trackers, no data brokers, and no account to sign into. Nothing about the documents, photos, video or audio you work on is ever collected, by me or by anyone else.

Changing your mind

Use the cookie icon at the bottom-left of any page to reopen the preferences panel and change what you allow. Rejecting analytics afterwards stops the script loading on your next page view; you can also clear the cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Every tool on the site works exactly the same whichever you choose.

More

See the privacy policy for what is and is not collected, or get in touch with a question.
